Bio
Hi, it’s me.... the girl behind the camera.
I am married to my best friend, have been for 6 years now. Together we have 2 beautiful girls, 2 doggos, 1 cat(that I’m allergic to), and 8 chickens. Photography, family time, and fishing pretty much sums up my favorite activities.
I have always loved to take pictures.. Even before we was taking pictures with our fancy cellular devices I was snapping moments and having to wait weeks to get them developed. It really took a jump when my first baby was born, I wanted a camera, I wanted to capture life moments. Before long I was setting her up all “fancy” for pictures and taking them at the time of day I knew I had “good light.”
Jump forward 4/5 years, my love for photography has grown. My pictures are completely different from what they used to be. Still I’m doing it for fun and only taking pictures of my daughter. During this same time frame a lady from church comes up to me... “Why don’t you take pictures for other people and make some money on the side?”
In my head I’m thinking “yeah right, like people would actually pay ME to take pictures?” Out of faith I said “okay”. Before I knew it people was coming to me asking me to take family pictures, wedding pictures, engagements.... I couldn’t believe it. Honestly tears fill my eyes typing this because it’s all God. He gave me this ability and now after stepping out in faith it is helping my family financially.
It will never be for the money.. I love being behind the camera. I truly find joy in photography... if you made it this far thank you for listening to my story, get ready though.. because this is just the beginning of it.
